Whats the best audio interface for a home studio?

I'm trying to start my own little home studio but dont know whats the best but not too expensive. I was looking at the MOTU Ultralite-mK3 Hybrid. I've also looked at the Apogee Duet 2 do you think those are good? and which would you prefer?
